Valley of the Queens: Tenderloin & Polk St Walking Tour

Follow a radicalizing gay liberation movement as “street queens,” hustlers, and Christian ministers form an unlikely partnership and establish the first Pride march. This tour includes a free round at a the Cinch Saloon (the last gay bar on Polk St.) in the spirit of community building in queer spaces. This tour length is about 2 hours and starts at the Tenderloin Museum (398 Eddy St).
